O'Leary Junior Girls Own the Track

Our strong track season was topped off by our Jr. Girls winning the City Championship in their division beating perennial champion Scona!  This has been the first track and field division championship at our school in over 35 + years!  Special congratulations goes out to individual performances winning medals at Cities and Provincials and setting the following records:
 
Toni Burse: City champion Gold in Jr. Shot Put, Silver in Triple Jump, Silver in 4 x 100 relay, Provincial Silver in Shot Put, and a NEW PROVINCIAL RECORD in Shot Put of 12.19 m!
Paige Patterson: Silver in the City championship in Jr. 800m, Bronze in 1500 m and javelin, and setting new school records in the 3000 m and the 800 m!
Cassie Matlock: City champion Gold and NEW CITY RECORD in Jr. Javelin of 39.24 m! Bronze in the 4 x 100 relay and bronze in the 80 m hurdles.
Monica Dickson: Silver in the City championship in Jr. 400 m, Silver in the 4 x 100 relay and bronze in triple jump.
Tanya Boychuk & Emily Reklow: Silver in the City championship 4 x 100  Jr. relay
Katelyn Tancsics, Phoebe Stead, & Morgan Weisgerber: Bronze in the City championship 4 x 100  Jr. relay
